AB Coaching and Leadership - Coach
Anthony is a high performance and leadership specialist with a top-flight pedigree in coaching, mentoring, facilitation, consultancy and training. He has some ten years experience of working
at all levels, including board directors and CEOs, helping leaders to develop and achieve as individuals and to build cohesive, motivated, high performing teams. His portfolio of clients spans the
private, public and and charitable sectors.
Previously he was Director of the British Army's Educational and Training Services (in the rank of Brigadier) - responsible for learning and development across the whole Army (some 100,000 people).
His extensive knowledge and broad experience enable him to engage with genuine credibility and to great effect.
His approach as a coach is, initially, non-directive (helping leaders to think widely and deeply, and work out their own solutions to the issues that they face). He also uses his knowledge and experience to provide ideas and options for consideration, when appropriate.
He sees communication as a key element of leadership and can help clients to develop clear, powerful messages and deliver them with impact. Crucially, all this combines to help the leader develop (or enhance) that indefinable but vital quality of 'presence'.
"Tony Brister's coaching programme has been truly transformative." Head of Leader's Office, leading London Council
"Excellent; non-threatening, yet confident style; highly productive sessions." Consultant Paediatrician
